Kendra Ashton completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at The University of British Columbia in 2013 and her Juris Doctor degree at Thompson Rivers University in 2017.  Kendra completed her articles and practiced at a family law firm in the Fraser Valley before joining Meridian Law Group in 2021.  Kendra now practices in the areas of family law, child protection, and insurance defence.

In her family law practice, Kendra has successfully represented clients through every step of the court process from first appearance to case conference to trial.  Although court is sometimes necessary to achieve a just result, she recognizes the value of negotiated settlements and has advocated for clients in mediations and other collaborative processes.

In an effort to address the ongoing access to justice issue facing many family law litigants, Kendra maintains a legal aid component to her family law practice.  She also volunteers with Access Pro Bono at legal advice clinics.

In her time away from the office, Kendra is an avid yogi and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
