David Madani completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at McGill University with a major in Psychology and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia in 2006.  After articling with McCullough Blazina Dieno in Victoria, during which time David gained considerable experience in criminal defence litigation, he was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2007.  David joined Swadden & Company in 2013, bringing to the firm his experience in commercial, personal injury, privacy, and defamation litigation.  He now spends a good portion of his time defending personal injury claims on behalf of ICBC.

In addition to volunteering as a supervising lawyer for the UBC Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, David has been a contributing author to a number of CLE courses and a contributing editor for the Law Society of British Columbia’s Learning Centre Website.  David enjoys travelling and is a dedicated craft beer enthusiast.
